Southern Scramble

Meet at the BFEC Resource Center. Join the BFEC’s newest employee, Maddie Morgan, to hike the Fern Trail - one of the highlights of our trail system south of 229. Maddie will talk about the trail’s history, design, flora and fauna as we wind up and around the Pine Plantation and then back down again to parallel the Gap Trail. This is a moderately challenging 1 mile hike.
