Family Nature Quest: Cordage Construction

Some of the sturdiest cordage can be made from a pair of hands and some plants.

In this program, researcher Olivia Westley-Sherman will talk about the historical uses of cordage throughout our human past. Then, we’ll try it out ourselves, making cordage and friendship bracelets from plants found around the BFEC.

Meet at the Picnic Shelter.
