NAMI Parenting Through the Darkness: A Teenager's Struggle with Mental Illness

Parent advocate Jami Ingledue will be the keynote speaker at the annual meeting of NAMI Knox Licking County Ohio.

Ingledue will speak to "Parenting Through the Darkness:  A Teenager's Struggle with Mental Illness".  Ingledue is a local author, blogger, and community advocate.  Many of her blogs can be found at the Wild Word website and others.

In addition to a lovely dinner, the evening will also include a message from Siera Hayes who will speak out openly about what it's like to live with a mental illness; and the presentation of the annual Franklin Miller, Jr. Volunteer of the Year Award and the Jerry Townsend Make a Difference Award.
