March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month; a time to celebrate the abilities of individuals with disabilities living in our community. The following are activities to support awareness:

• March 10^th, 7:30pm,  Mount      Vernon City Council Disability      Awareness Month Proclamation Signing:      40 Public Square, Suite 206
• March 13^th, 10:00am, Knox County      Commissioners Disability Awareness Month Proclamation Signing: 117 E High St, Mt Vernon
• March 17^th, 7:00pm, Danville Disability      Awareness Month Proclamation Signing,      Village Office: 512 S. Market Street
• March 20^th, Celebrity Omelet/Pancake Dinner, 4:30pm – 6:30pm, New Hope Early Education Center Gym:      11700 Upper Gilchrist Road, Mount Vernon
• March 30^th Ability @ Work Bowling Benefit, 2:00pm – 4:00pm, Colonial City Lanes: 110 Mt Vernon Ave, Mt Vernon
