Identifying Needs, Services, and Solutions
Julie Miller, Executive Director of The Winter Sanctuary,
will provide information and answer questions.
We encourage you to submit your questions to carol@knoxchamber.com no later than October 10th. Your name will remain confidential. I will send Julie the questions prior to the meeting and she will address them at the event. Some questions covered include:
- What are the main causes of becoming homeless?
- What can be done to prevent homelessness?
- How can the community help?
- Are there items that can be donated to The Winter Sanctuary?
- What are long-range plans for The Winter Sanctuary?
- Will a year-round shelter become a reality?
- When is it appropriate to call the emergency or non-emergency of the police department?
- What other agencies provide education and information?
