DESCRIPTION:The 2021 Knox County River Rally will be held Saturday\, Sept. 18 on the segments of the Kokosing and Mohican Rivers that flow through Knox County.\n\nRegistration will be at the CA&C Depot at 501 S. Main St. in Mount Vernon from 9:00-9:45 a.m. A limited number of T-shirts will be provided.\n\n\n\nParticipants are invited to walk or kayak/canoe (EPA will provide eight canoes\, bring your own if possible) and collect trash from our rivers. Please wear clothes that are appropriate for the forecast\, able to get wet and close-toed footwear. Food will be provided directly after the event.\n\n\n\nThis year's event is made possible by the Knox County Commissioner's Office\, DKMM Solid Waste District and the Ohio EPA. Full sponsors will be released closer to the event. Details are subject to change and masks are encouraged for anyone ride-sharing the day of the event.
