SUMMARY:Career Quest 2025 for 8th and 10th Graders
DESCRIPTION:Our steering committee members are excited to invite you to participate in Career Quest 2025\, a large-scale\, interactive career exploration event hosted by OhioMeansJobs Knox County.\n\n\n\nThe event will take place on Wednesday\, October 1\, 2025\, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Mount Vernon High School Energy Fieldhouse (101 Yellow Jacket Drive\, Mount Vernon\, OH). \n\n\n\nWhat to expect:\n\n	Over 1\,200 students\, primarily 8th and 10 graders\, will attend throughout the day.\n	Exhibitors are asked to provide an interactive\, hands-on activity that helps youth experience your industry in an engaging way.\n	Each booth includes a 10x10 space\, 1-2 tables\, and access to electricity if requested.\n	Lunch will be provided for your team. We recommend 4-6 staff members\, with the option to rotate shifts (i.e.\, morning vs. afternoon coverage).\n	There will be no formal breaks between student cohorts\, so rotating staff can help ensure a strong presence all day.\n	No cost to exhibit (we do need a firm commitment though)\n	Our steering committee and OMJ staff are happy to give you ideas for engaging activities for your exhibitor station.\n	Exhibitor training sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams prior to the event. Multiple date options will be available\, and we ask that each exhibitor attend one session.
